Twister

Translation

In Single: Arguments for the Uncoupled, Michael Cobb troubles common understandings of being single as sad, lonely, and pathetic. He argues that being single is conceptualized as the failure to achieve coupledom, and further that the supremacy of the couple makes it difficult to see the power and possibility in singledom.

Gameplay

“Your grandma tells you ‘Find someone to love.’ Place your right foot on loneliness.” In this edition of Twister, Players grapple with real-life examples that speak to Cobb’s argument--that the only way to achieve happiness is to be in a couple. The game is available in two versions, one for college students and another for middle schoolers.
